About Shapla Cultural School

Shapla Cultural School is one of the national cultural institutions of Bangladesh. Shapla Cultural School was established by Mr. Md. Mohsin Ali, Founder and Executive Director of Shapla Gram Unnayan Sangstha to continue the glorious development of national culture. Shapla Cultural School was established in 2010 for the purpose of practicing and developing art at all district and upazila levels of Bangladesh. Shapla Cultural School regularly conducts music, dance, drama and fine arts, recitation, research and publishing departments. Separate trainers are employed for these departments .The cultural manager is the highest executive officer of Shapla Cultural School.

In order to expand the cultural activities, the head office of Shapla Cultural School has been established in the headquarters of Rajshahi district of the country and a branch office has been established in Keshorhat municipality of Mohanpur upazila. There is currently a cultural manager, Who manages the activities of Shapla Cultural School. At present its activities extend to the upazila. In order to develop art culture, support and recognition of talented and talented artists, grants to poor and meritorious students, research on past traditions and contemporary culture and national festivals on music, drama and fine arts are organized. Shapla Music

The cultural environment of family, social and educational institutions helps children and adolescents to develop a tolerant and positive attitude towards people, society and the state. The practice of music teaches people to be generous, to get along with everyone, to create creativity, to keep everyone happy and to motivate people to play a positive role in society. Different types of music are trained in Shapla Cultural School. Especially patriotic songs, Rabindra Sangeet, Nazrul Giti, modern music and folk songs of different regions. Here all ages can learn music. Qualifications are just a lot of things including love for music, interest in learning, perseverance, hard work, honesty. There is no substitute for learning, you have to learn all your life. The minimum age for admission is three years. There is no age limit for seniors. You just have to have a deep passion for music. Shapla Cultural School is teaching free music to poor and marginalized children. Ballet, hip-hop, salsa, tango are the most common names. From this it is understood that the practice of dance in the country has increased more than before. Shapla Cultural School teaches folk dance, bharatanatyam, classical, kathak, manipuri and modern dance, hip hop dance, freestyle dance, contemporary dance and creative dance. From class three to university students can be admitted in the dance department course here. Classes are only three days a week. Here a child’s learning of rhythm and posture from an early age and an idea of perfection is created in him. He can arrange his own life as beautifully as rhythm. Classical dance is taught by a skilled dance instructor through certain rules of dance itself. Mohsin Ali has launched a scheme to provide stipend for education among poor and meritorious students in different upazilas of Rajshahi district at the rate of Taka 1200 per month. Mr. Md. Mohsin Ali gave written instructions to Shapla Cultural School to provide scholarships to the poor and meritorious students who are deprived of education due to lack of funds. At present, stipends have been started for primary, secondary, higher secondary, undergraduate (pass) and equivalent level students.
